My Life

I teach in Plum Coulee School. I teach Kindergarten, Reading Recovery and Grade 2 Science. I am not very knowledgeable about computers. I am married and have 3 sons and 2 dogs. One son lives in Squamish, B.C., one in Vancouver, B.C. and one is still at home. I have a cottage and like to spend weekends there. One of my favourite websites is a kgtn. resource

Description :

We are having 100 days of school on Wed, Feb. 21/07 and we will be counting out 100 pieces of snack with our Grade 6 buddies as part of our day.

Curricular Outcomes :

Count out 10 pieces of 10 different snack items with our buddies. 

The students will practise counting 1 - 10 and 1 - 100.

ICT Outcomes:

The students and teacher will work together to put the pictures on Photostory.

The students and teacher will work together to add spoken words and music to our photostory.

The Kindergarten class will present the photostory to the Grade 6 class. 

The Plan :

Digital pictures will be taken by the teachers as the students work on counting and sharing their snacks.

They will be put onto Photostory and the class will work together to add words and music.

E- portfolio produced :

A photostory of our 100 day snack that we can view and share with our Grade 6 buddies.
