My name is Marg Kelso. I teach Grade 2 at Southwood Elementary school! I really enjoy using the website ABCTeach. There are 21 students in my class and they have a wide variety of interests.  During May and June, the students are brushing up on their keyboarding skills using an interne-based program called Dancemat.  Your child may use this program at home by going to www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/flassh/s4pop.shtml.  The children are really enjoying learning to type using  the correct fingers on the corresponding keys.  I think it makes them feel like grown-ups when they type this way!!
