Description:

The Grade 2 students went to The Centennial Library in Winkler with the Grade 8 class to have a tour and view the new Library.

Curricular Outcomes 

The students will view the Centennial Library and learn about it.  They will also learn how it works to obtain a Library card and how to sign out books.

ICT Outcomes

Grade Two students will learn how to use digital cameras and will participate in the process of making a Photostory.  Later they will view the Photostory.

The Plan

The Grade 8 students will take 3 digital cameras along and will teach the Grade 2s how to use the cameras.   At the end of the tour, all Grade 2 students will have had an opportunity to take pictures.   They will be put onto Photostory and words and music will be added.
